Healing Negative Emotions

A New Look at Regression Hypnotherapy

You are more than your body.  You are also far more than your thoughts about yourself.  Who you truly are surpasses and transcends any limitation you could ever conceive of placing on yourself.  Most people who have had out-of-body or near-death experiences have had direct and often unexplainable experience of this concept.  How does this relate to regression therapy?

Regression therapy is based on the premise that beneath all of our emotional issues lie self-limiting thoughts.  We are aware of some of these thoughts, while others remain at the subconscious level.  In either case, we shed these thoughts about ourselves like a cloak when the time comes when we no longer need our body.  Still, you may ask, what does regression therapy have to do with this?  All our self-limiting thoughts began somewhere, sometimes from harmful past events and sometimes from seemingly benign, yet hurtful mundane events.  Past events no longer exist, but we keep them alive by continuing to carry the dense, heavy energy of these events with us in the form of thoughts and feelings, specifically in the form of fears or limiting messages about ourselves and/or the world.

These limiting beliefs and thoughts underlie nearly all problems, especially depression, anxiety or any fear.  Each of these thoughts is also inaccurate, false and a gross misperception from the vantage point of your soul.  Most of these self-defeating messages that we took in were given to us by people who were hurting and feeling incomplete themselves.  Regression therapy, when properly done, taps into the very wise and adept part of ourselves beneath the conscious level.  The regression process then neutralizes the originating cause of any self-limiting belief by doing two things:  (1) Giving us the insight that any hurt we received had very little, if nothing to do with us but rather had to do with the abuser’s own fears and feelings of lack of power, strength and control, due to their own previously programmed subconscious mind and the pain they were carrying; (2) Replacing the feelings of lack or hurt with the direct opposite feeling, thus reprogramming the subconscious mind with a thoroughly empowering experience and thoughts of complete wholeness from the eternal part of you.

This process paves the way for forgiveness of self and others, which is a key ingredient for self-healing.  It is effective energy work because we are beings of energy, and thoughts and feelings are forms of energy that serve to either strengthen us or weaken and block us.  (This is demonstrated by using muscle-testing with various thoughts and feelings.)  Thus, negative energy can be released and subconscious beliefs easily reprogramed. The process is thought and life transformation as we begin to release our fears and self-imposed limits and focus on our strengths and passions.  Science has proven that as we change our thoughts, our bio-chemistry changes.  Therefore, regression therapy is a rapid and powerful means to reclaim our true selves, realize our true potential and begin to create what we choose for ourselves in our life. We thus put into action the truth that we are indeed beings of pure creative potential.
